Webb11 apr. 2024 · The Teleparallel Theory is an alternative theory of gravity equivalent to general relativity (GR) and with non-vanishing torsion T. Some extensions of this theory, the so-called f(T) models, have been subject of many recent works. The purpose of our work in the end is to consider recent results for a specific family of f(T) models by using their … WebbName Initially, the term theory of everything was used with an ironic reference to various overgeneralized theories. For example, a grandfather of Ijon Tichy – a character from a cycle of Stanisław Lem's science fiction stories of the 1960s – was known to work on the " General Theory of Everything ". Physicist Harald Fritzsch used the term in his 1977 …

Webb18 mars 2024 · The theory of everything would include all the forces, strong, weak, electromagnetic, and gravity, and all the particles to explain the universe. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about how gravity works. A theory of everything would unify all the fundamental interactions of nature: gravitation, the strong interaction, the weak interaction, and electromagnetism. Because the weak interaction can transform elementary particles from one kind into another, the theory of everything should also predict all the various different kinds of particles possible. The usual assumed path of theories is given in the following graph, where each unification step leads one level up on the graph.

WebbThe first successful classical unified field theory was developed by James Clerk Maxwell. In 1820, Hans Christian Ørsted discovered that electric currents exerted forces on magnets, while in 1831, Michael Faraday made the observation that time-varying magnetic fields could induce electric currents.
