Once we "upgraded" to 2024 for whatever reason it's just laggy. This is definitely not a hardware issue. The 2024 RDS VM is running on ESXi 6.5 on an all flash array (same exact hardware as the 2012 R2 VM). At this point I just gave up trying to make is snappier.
