If Ford used a slightly design on the Tbird they should be fine. It's worth checking into. If they are indeed identical to the 86 Mustang heads, get rid of them. Again it was an Autozone rebuild special with flat top pistons like an 86HO or any other SO 302 thru like 89 or so. The spark plug is at like a 45 degree angle, around a nub, and pointed directly at the exhaust valve. It's like the spark is hidden from the intake valve.
