When I worked for city council all the poly drip lines, header lines, and supply lines were kept above ground as much as practical. It made finding and inspecting lines a lot easier and lowered the rate of damages from garden tools and root infiltration. WebJun 9, 2008 · I'm starting my fiirst residential irrigation project. I run a greenhouse where I have run drip irrigation for my hanging baskets and chrysanthemums in the field, but I'm not sure what is "the prefered method" of irrigating shrubs in a residential setting.
